Summer Camps at Kinder Books: Aug 24-28, 1-4 pm

Flights of Fantasy

Dates: August 24-28,

Time: 1pm-4pm

This camp will be hosted by Kinder Books and run by Enliven Lit 

Journey into realms of imagination in these stories that inspire the most creative types of thinking. From magical creatures to unbelievable places, fantasy helps us to imagine “what if” and see real life in a whole new way.

• Peter Nimble and his Fantastic Eyes by Jonathan Auxier 

• The Misewa Saga: The Barren Grounds by David A Robertson

• Lightfall: The Girl and the Galdurian by Tim Probert

Half-day camp for kids aged 8-11. Kinder Books, New Westminster.

Camp involves reading time, guided book club discussions, related crafts and games, plus outdoor time at River Market, Pier Park, and Quayside Park. Campers should bring a nutritious nut-free snack, a water bottle, a hat and sunscreen.

Cost: $175 – Includes copies of the three amazing fantasy books that we’ll be focusing on!

Cancellation Policy

In the event of low enrollment, Kinder Books reserves the right to cancel camps. Full refunds will be issued.

Refund Policy

Refund requests are approved according to the policy below:

If a refund is requested:

• More than two weeks (14 calendar days) before the start of camp: A non-refundable processing fee of $15 for each camp will be applied to the refund

• Between two weeks (14 calendar days) and the start of camp: A cancellation fee of 50% of your camp value + non-refundable $15 processing fee for each camp will be applied to the refund. 

• On or after the start date of the camp: No refunds will be issued
