Melaney Gleeson-Lyall (Point) is a Musqueam, Coast Salish artist and author from their ancestral lands known as Vancouver. She was raised in a non-native family and her adoptive mother, Kay, always encouraged her to find her rich, cultural heritage. Melaney has reconnected to her cultural roots and First Nations families. She lives to find the balance between the two cultures and walk with the truth towards reconciliation in her world.
