Warm Up with Books, Dogs, and Blankets at Kinder Books! 🐾
Kinder Books is more than a bookstore—it’s a warm, welcoming hub for discovery, connection, and community. Since opening our doors in New Westminster in 2020, we’ve been proud to create a space where children (and the adults who love them!) can explore, imagine, and grow together.
This December, that spirit comes to life in one special morning filled with stories, wagging tails, and winter warmth.
Meet the Hide-and-Seek Adventurers!
Join us on Saturday, December 6, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., for a very special Meet & Greet with Andrew Knapp, Boo, and Yaya!
Andrew Knapp is the beloved Canadian author and photographer behind the Find Momo and Hide-and-Seek Adventure series—starring his famous canine companions Boo and Yaya. These whimsical books capture the magic of friendship and exploration through playful hide-and-seek adventures.

Give Warmth: A Community Drive with Blanket BC
Our community thrives on kindness. In partnership with Blanket BC, we’re hosting a winter donation drive to help keep our neighbours warm.
Please consider bringing a new or gently used:

Jacket, sweater, or other warm clothing

Socks, scarves, or mittens

Donations will be accepted from December 1 – 6, and every item collected will go directly to helping someone stay warm this winter. Together, we can make a real difference.
