Like all people in Canada, we are struggling with the devastating news about the 215 lives taken at Kamloops Residential School.

We can't take away the pain but we can show support through solidarity, action, and promise to teach others about history.

In the past, we have participated in the T-Shirt sales/fundraising for Orange Shirt Day in partnership with Native Northwest and we have decided to do it again.

Native Northwest's 2021 Orange Shirt features a heart designed by Tsimshian artist Morgan Asoyuf with the words “Every Child Matters” inscribed in the heart.

The same design will be featured on the front cover of Morgan’s soon-to-be launched Native Northwest board book, "Learning My Rights with Mousewoman”.

Native Northwest will donate partial proceeds from orange shirt sales to the Orange Shirt Society and BC Aboriginal Child Care Association.

Kinder Books will donate all proceeds to the Indian Residential School Survivors Society.

Pre-order your shirts here. They will be available for pick up at the @kinderbooks2 store in New West.
